With over a combined 30 years in the event industry, our team has a true passion for creating events that are unique, seamless and stunning. From one of our beautiful beaches, exclusive beach front properties or resort locations MIW has a ceremony and reception location for the largest of events to the most intimate affaires.

Our extensive experience working in all types of locations and providing unique weddings for each client means that you can relax in knowing your event will be one that family and friends remember and talk about in the future.
Ask any recent bride and groom and they’ll most probably have a list of the stressful jobs and challenging issues associated with planning their wedding, especially a destination wedding. Statistics show that the average wedding takes an estimated 300 hours of planning; that’s comparable to part-time job! It can become a little overwhelming, but it doesn’t need to be a stressful time for you and your partner.

We leave nothing to chance. Throughout the planning process, we supply you with detailed information and schedules, maps and photographs of locations, venues, hire equipment and decorations so you will know exactly what to expect on the day.
All our service providers are familiar with the island, locations and venues so there are no mistakes or delays. We always have a ‘plan b’ should anything unexpected be forecast, such as rain. We’ll advise you during the planning process on things such as this, so all you need to do on the day is sit back, relax and be pampered.
Environmental policy
Magnetic Island Weddings recognises that it is the Island’s natural beauty and national park heritage listing, which makes it the perfect place to celebrate a wedding or event. Therefore, we are committed to creating low impact, environmentally friendly events.
This includes meticulous cleaning of beaches and parklands after ceremonies and events, noise/volume management during events (also a liquor licensing requirement) and recycling of glass, paper and plastics wherever possible.
Our policy also extends to bans on the following products which aren’t biodegradable and can harm indigenous wildlife and sea life, including turtles, which inhabit the waters around Magnetic Island and nest on the Island’s beaches; balloons, metal tables scatters, plastic serving items wherever possible, plastic bags except for those used in rubbish disposal and all confetti with the exception of fresh flower petals.
Magnetic Island Weddings is proud of its excellent record with local Council in maintaining sites used for weddings and events.
